Justification Contains high amounts of iron when compared to other products.

Combines with Vitamin C, B6, B9, and B12 improves absorption.

Contains high amounts of iron compared to other products.

Combined with many of the B vitamins for improved blood manufacture.

Contains C, and herbal sources of iron.

Contains many of B vitamins that act synergistically to make blood.

Also contains C, and herbal sources of iron.

Prescription Range

RDI for iron 18mg

Recommended dose of one tablet contains equivalent of 5mg iron. Recommended dose of one tablet contains 4.95mg of iron. Recommended dose of 5mls 2 to 3 times daily provides at least 11.7mg of iron distributed throughout the day. (This does not take into account herbal sources).
Contraindications Do not use during acute infection.

Excess use can increase bacterial growth and the release of certain exotoxins.

Iron is not naturally excreted by the body thus caution should be taken with dosage.

   
Practical Considerations   60 tablets in pack should last two months. 200ml bottle contains 13 to 20 days worth depending on usage.

Liquid form may be a problem for compliance.
