Alzheimer's Disease (9/99)

Alzheimer's Disease is a form of dementia with an increasing prevalence in Australian society. Currently there is no known cure for the disease: the best pharmaceuticals on the market can only slow progression, and only in some people.  However, it seems that there is not a week that goes past without news items flashing up on TV and radio telling of new discoveries that may one day lead to a reversal of the condition.

The paper we have put together provides a bit of a backgrounder on the disease - but its main focus is on nutritional aspects of the disease and nutritional theories on prevention.
