Actions Urinary antiseptic 2

Diuretic 4

Removes uric acid debris, and is cleansing and toning to the mucous membrane 9

Soothing to the pelvic nerves 9

Applications All urinary and prostatic infection 2

Cystitis, urethritis, prostatitis 4

Painful and burning urination 4

Dysuria 3

Dosage Dried Leafs: 0.5 – 2 gms tds 2

Liquid Extract: 1:1 90% 0.5 – 1.5 ml tds 3

Tincture: 1:5 60% 2 – 4 ml tds 3

Combinations Achillea millefolium or Agropyron repens for cystitis 4

Althaea officinale or Zea mays for burning urination 4

C/I Cautions Not to be used during pregnancy 5

Contraindicated in kidney inflammation 5
